It’s never been easier to leverage animation, motion graphics, and sophisticated graphical techniques when building for the modern web. Come see what Adobe is doing to move the web forward in these areas by working on new W3C specifications, tools that help designers create content, and services for testing content across screens.
Transports will be available from Malmö Stortorget at 5.00 PM. At the venue you will be served food and drinks.
Agenda
1. Introduction
We will demonstrate the latest Adobe contributions to web standards: CSS Regions to get Express magazine-like layouts with simple CSs, CSS Custom filters to easily display cinematic effects for the web, CSS Compositing, CSS Exclusions…
2. Adobe Edge Animate
We will introduce a new tool launched by Adobe to build a beautiful and modern web: Adobe Edge Animate, to create interactive and animated content using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
3. Adobe Edge Reflow
We will also preview Adobe Edge Reflow, an innovative tool built in HTML to create responsive layouts.
4. Adobe Edge Inspect
Everybody talks about how mobile is so important, mobile first, responsive design, and so forth. Adobe Edge Inspect is a new tool that streamlines the mobile development. It makes so easy testing your website that you’d feel that you didn¹t leave your desktop in the first place. In this session you will see how you can leverage Adobe’s tool and other tools for testing and debugging your mobile websites and web apps on Android and iOS devices.
5. PhoneGap/Build
PhoneGap is an open source platform for developing mobile applications that run across different devices and operating systems. If this is not cool enough then let me add one more thing: you code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
In this session you will find out what PhoneGap is and how you can use it to build mobile applications. You will see PhoneGap Build in action – the easiest way to build/package your files into the native installers.
6. Adobe Edge Code
Adobe has released this very year an open source project called Brackets. Brackets is a code editor for web build with open web technologies.
We will discuss about the different approach we took for a code editor and how we think to add value on top of the Brackets open source project.
